Health-Related Information / HIPAA ● No Collection of PHI on the Site: Individually identifiable health information is not required to book a gig through the Site. BandJAM does not accept, and Clients are prohibited from uploading to the Site or otherwise providing to BandJAM, any information that constitutes Protected Health Information (“PHI”) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).● JAM Master Access to PHI: In some instances, our facility Clients may engage Performers for a session or gig at the Client facility and patients of Client may be present at such session or gig. In such cases, any personally identifiable information related to patients of a Client, including any information that constitutes PHI will be used and disclosed pursuant to a Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) directly between the Client and the Performer. For the convenience of Clients and Performers, the Site offers the ability to enter into BAAs directly through the Site when creating an account.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to: ● Provide and Maintain our Services – Facilitate bookings, manage user accounts, handle payments (via third-party payment processors), and ensure quality of service.● Communicate with You – Send administrative information, updates, and promotional content if you opt in to receive such messages. ● Analyze Usage and Improve Services – Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities to develop new features or enhance existing functionality. ● Provide for the Security of the Site – Detect, prevent, or investigate security breaches or fraud. Comply with Legal Obligations – Respond to legal requests, enforce our Terms of Service, or otherwise comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Disclosure of Your Information
