Is BandJAM clinical music therapy?

No. BandJAM is facilitated group music programming. It is designed to complement — not replace — clinical music therapy. Many centers run BandJAM alongside their licensed therapy programming as engagement and milieu support.

How does BandJAM compare to a local music therapist or a music app like SingFit?

BandJAM and a music therapist solve different problems. A licensed music therapist (MT-BC) does clinical 1:1 or small-group work tied to individual treatment plans — irreplaceable for that use case, but not built to run weekly group programming across an IOP or multi-facility operation. Apps like SingFit are content libraries your activities staff has to facilitate. BandJAM is the live, vetted, professionally facilitated group programming layer — with a national network, an AI Impact Report per session, and a client portal. We complement these; we don't replace them.

How is pricing structured?

Per-session pricing is tuned to your cadence, formats, and facility footprint. We share figures in your proposal after a short scoping call — it keeps the quote honest to the program you actually want to run.

Can BandJAM run inside a residential treatment program?

Yes. Residential is our most common deployment. We slot into the weekly schedule, work with your clinical team's protocols, and adapt cadence as census shifts.

How is BandJAM trauma-informed?

Our JAM Masters are trained to maintain emotional safety in the room — clear consent, no forced participation, predictable structure, and trained de-escalation. Sessions are designed to widen the window of tolerance, not push past it.

What clinical credentials do your facilitators carry?

Our facilitator network includes RADC, CADC, LADC, and MA-level clinicians where required. Match-to-credential requirements can be specified at contract.

How does the Taster Session work?

Your facility's first 60-minute session is offered as a Taster Session — one time, once per facility. We share pricing in your proposal. It's the simplest way to run a low-risk pilot before committing to weekly programming.

How do you handle HIPAA?

We operate HIPAA-aware: no PHI collected, no recording without consent, and any documentation we deliver is de-identified summary data only. BAA available on request.

What does monthly programming actually cost?
