    Peter Katz

Story, strategy, and the music that ties them together.

Peter Katz is a JUNO Award- and Canadian Screen Award-nominated singer-songwriter, keynote speaker, and certified facilitator whose Celebrate What Matters™ keynote concerts have taken the stage with Johns Hopkins, Coca-Cola, American Express, Johnson & Johnson, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Royal Bank of Canada.

Over more than a decade of touring and 10,000+ hours as a performer and facilitator, Peter has built something rare: the ability to weave live music, customized storytelling, and Appreciative-Inquiry-trained leadership tools into experiences that move audiences from inspiration to action.

At BandJAM, Peter is a high-leverage thought partner on content, messaging, and market strategy — sharpening how we speak to corporate wellness and senior-care audiences, co-creating sessions, opening doors with clients, and representing BandJAM on stages where it matters most.

"The line between performer and audience blurs as the audience writes the song with you — and everyone walks away changed."

    — Peter Katz

"To be the highest standard of being a storyteller is to be like Peter Katz."

    — Jeff Pulver, Vonage Founder & VOIP Pioneer

"Peter weaves story, strategy, and substance. He's the rare partner who can take the way music transforms a room and translate it into the way our work shows up in the world."

    Strategic Medical & Research Advisor

The scientific rigor behind how BandJAM is built.

    Dr. Tobias Moeller-Bertram

    M.D., Ph.D., MAS

    "Dr. Toby"

Turning experiential "miracles" into peer-reviewed data.

Dr. Toby is a triple-board-certified physician and scientist in anesthesiology, pain management, and addiction medicine — and the Principal Investigator for Dr. Joe Dispenza's research arm. He is one of the senior authors behind a recent Communications Biology study quantifying neural, immune, and molecular changes from a seven-day mind-body retreat: precisely the methodology BandJAM needs to turn observed transformation into defensible science.

For two decades — beginning with his work at the VA Pain Clinic in San Diego, where he saw firsthand how trauma rewrites the body — Dr. Toby has chased one question across academic medicine, translational research, and entrepreneurship: how do thoughts, emotions, and shared experience shape physical reality? That same question now sits at the heart of BandJAM's session model.

As Strategic Medical & Research Advisor, Dr. Toby pressure-tests our session format, dose, and mechanism against the science of music, attention, and group regulation. He's helping us build a measurement framework that will turn what happens in the room — energy shifts, lowered barriers, stronger belonging — into credible, publishable signal. And when investors and enterprise clients ask the hard scientific questions, his voice is on the call.

"Dr. Toby has built the exact methodology BandJAM needs — turning experiential 'miracles' into peer-reviewed, defensible data. That's the credibility we want to bring to our work."

    Featured Scientist

Dr. Toby is a featured scientist in SOURCE — It's Within You, the documentary on the science of meditation produced by InnerScience Research Fund.

    From the film

"There is an effect of meditation and we can measure it… We applied the same protocols to run a pharmaceutical study."

    How We Build

Two seats. High bar. Real work.

BandJAM's advisory board is small and deliberate. We hold seats for people whose lives are already a proof point — who can sharpen our story, validate our approach, and open doors at scale. Each advisor commits real hours every month: pressure-testing the model, co-creating sessions, joining client and investor calls, and representing BandJAM in the rooms where decisions get made.

If you've built something measurable in corporate wellness, senior care, behavioral health, neuroscience, or music-and-medicine — and you want to help us bring the science of music to every community that needs it — we'd love to talk.
